Resolutions list.

I've always been inspired by people who continue to generate and exude positive energy from their good qualities whenever they're around me. Since being back home, I've tried to keep in touch with old friends, one of whom does this very thing to me. Lara [as usual] inspires me to become a better person by little gestures such as helping me de-clutter my life [tangible and intangible items] by writing out a list of resolutions. I gave that a shot since continuing to progress as an individual is more helpful than the deterioration of self.

In no particular order:
  1. Act instead of continuing to ramble about future ambitions.
  2. Do not waste time on people who do not appreciate your efforts.
  3. Continue to offer your talents and advice to others.
  4. Remain positive & rid negative energy.
  5. Be more responsible.
  6. Keep in touch with those you hold dear.
  7. Drink more water & moisturize.
  8. Always be reading a book.
  9. Keep aware of worldly/local politics & issues.
  10. Continue to learn from others.
  11. Be patient with your parents.
  12. Leave the country!!
  13. Stop snacking.
  14. Do not waste your time on people who verbally and emotionally oppress you.

I can gladly say that I've upheld more than half of these things throughout the summer alone. I'm so much happier whenever I see that I've accomplished these metaphysical mantras. I know a few are simply attainable with self-control and others are extravagant at first glance, but I love the challenge and will work for a better self.

Ana... I hope you know you made my day =) I'm about to cry! The only thing holding me back is the simultaneous need to laugh at Resolution #13: Stop snacking. Hahaha I don't know why, but this totally makes me laugh. Love you girl!
